Reviewed: Westmore: The Aftermath by Carol Cassada...

Westmore: The Aftermath
In the eagerly anticipated sequel, a car crash leaves Alicia fighting for survival as her family comes together in her time of need. Meanwhile Andrew and Elizabeth, team up to protect their son and conceal his role in the accident.
Will The Greens suffer the death of another loved one? Will The Braxtons put aside their hostility and stick together during the crisis? Plus what other drama awaits the families, find out in Westmore: The Aftermath.
Westmore: The Aftermath is another good read. It opens up exactly where Westmore (book#1) left off with Scott and Alicia's accident. The book continues on with the story of all of the other previous characters at the point their stories where left off with also.
Scott and Melissa remain my favorite characters and I loved reading about how their relationship was progressing~same with Jacob and Alicia. It was sad to read how Alicia and Scott struggled, in their own ways, after the accident. It was also interesting to see how the accident affected all of the three families. I can't wait to read what happens with Peter, Zoe, Jack, Wayne, and Elliott.
I have never read a book with this type of soap opera feel before this series. It definitely feels like I am watching episodes of General Hospital or Dynasty (I know that I just dated myself with that one. LOL) It has everything from heroes and heroines~to villains~to secrets and lies. All of these elements combine for an interesting read.
I like how this one ended and can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Although it ended in another cliff~hanger, it was not nearly as big as the one that ended Westmore. 3 out of 5 rating.
