Title: The Rocker That Needs Me
Author: Terri Anne Browning

Synopsis
The Demon…

I’ve been fighting my own demons for most of my life. The alcohol seems to numb the pain, but it never makes the nightmares go away. All I want in life is a little peace. When I met my angel it felt like I found it, but there is so much standing between us. Why does she have to be so young…?

The Demon’s Angel…

Meeting Drake was the best thing to ever happen to me. I found my friend, my soul mate. But he lets my age stand between us. There is something that haunts him, and I selfishly want to be the one that helps him conquer his ghosts. If he would just let me in, let me closer, I think I could help him…

Drakes POV
My head snapped around at the sound of that voice, and I was sure that my heart stopped in my chest when I met the whiskey colored eyes of an angel. Her long, midnight black hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Her brown-amber eyes were huge in her beautiful face. She had plump lips that were almost bee stung and a nose that was tipped at the end. The angel was tall, her waist long and slender, but she had curves that made my body ache to hold her against me.
This angel was young; I would say no more than twenty-one…Layla introduced the angel. “Lana, this is Jesse and that’s Drake. Guys, this is my seventeen year old sister, Lana.”
Seventeen. Seventeen. SEVENTEEN!
Seven-fucking-teen!
The number bounced around in my already throbbing head, and I thought I was going to go mad from it. No! Not seventeen. She had to be older. I couldn’t be attracted in a seventeen year old girl.
“It’s nice to meet you, Lana,” Jesse said as he stared at the angel.
I was fascinated by the pretty pink that flooded her cheeks. “Yeah, you too,” she murmured and glanced at her sister. “Layla, can you help me with something in the bathroom?”
The sisters left us alone in the living room, and Jesse dropped down on the sofa beside of me. “Dude, you look pale.”
I wasn’t surprised. I think I had actually felt the color drain from my face when Layla had said the word seventeen. I felt sick to my stomach for an entirely different reason than the ones that I had woken up to.

Review: On Her Master's Secret Service by Lexi Blake...5 out of 5 Rating...

Book #4

Her submission fulfilled her

When Eve St. James married Alex McKay, she had her whole life ahead of her. They were the FBI’s golden couple by day, but by night Eve gave herself over to her husband’s world of Dominance and submission filled with pleasures she came to crave.

His betrayal destroyed her

Worried for her safety, Alex left Eve behind to tackle a dangerous mission. But Alex never suspected that Eve was the real target and her security is destroyed by a madman. By the time he rescues her, his wife has been changed forever.

But when her life is in danger, he is her only hope

Unable to heal the damage, Alex and Eve are still trapped together in a cycle of pleasure and misery that even their divorce cannot sever. But when a threat from Eve’s past resurfaces, Alex will stop at nothing to save her life and reclaim her heart.
This is one of my favorite series by one of my favorite authors. I have been looking forward to Eve and Alex’s book since the started with nervous anticipation because I knew that their story was going to be sad and my heart already ached for them. I knew it was going to be hard to read their struggle to obtain an HEA and although it was definitely sad and at times just plain heartbreaking, it was so worth the read. It wasn’t all sadness, there was a lot of laughter and excitement and of course smoking hot sex that was also loving and intimate. The love Alex and Eve felt for each other jumped off the pages. So good!!

On Her Master’s Secret Service was such a great story and I fell in love with Alex and Eve even more. I wanted their HEA so bad.  I was so happy to be able to return to this creative and kinky hot world with the most lovable Doms and subs that Lexi created. All my favorite characters returned and I CANNOT WAIT for Ian’s book!!! These characters brought so much not only to this story but the entire series and I just couldn’t get enough of them. The ending has me dying for Ian’s book ~ he has been my favorite from the start ~ besides Liam.

The things that kept happening to Ian that kept him from joining the others in this mission cracked me up.  So funny!!  But my heart definitely ached for him as well in that scene at the club ~ Eve was so sweet with him and vice versa. That was a favorite part of the book for me to read them interact with each other. I cannot state enough how much I love these characters.

5 out of 5 rating.

He lifted the T-shirt over her head and tossed it to the ground. Then he took a moment to just look at her. The woman who had taken up residence in his mind—in his dreams—for the last week was right in front of him, and he wanted to make sure to embed the real image of her in his mind, because the memory of her from that night long ago did nothing to exemplify what was in front of him now.
“You’re staring,” she whispered shyly.
“I know.”
She slid her legs behind her and raised to her knees in front of him. Her tits were right in his reach, her nipples pink and taut, and he wanted to lean down and pull one into his mouth and roll it between his lips—but he didn’t. He was more interested to see what Meagan had planned now that she was on her knees in front of him.
She inched her body closer to him, but even then she still wasn’t close enough—not as close as Reed needed her to be. Reaching out, she grabbed his hands in hers then slowly brought one  to her mouth and pulled his thumb between her lips, sucking it gently. His eyes were fixated on her plump lips as she swirled her tongue around his thumb then released it from her warm mouth. She moved his hands down, splaying his palms over her collarbone, down over her tits—barely giving him time to enjoy the soft mounds before she skimmed them over her stomach. Just as he thought she was leading him to her sweet spot, to where he was itching to touch—to feel her warm and wet, coating his fingers—she wrapped his hands around her waist and pressed her body against him.
The closeness he was craving seeped into him as her soft, bare skin fluttered over his.
“Isn’t it more fun to touch than to look?”

Oh, hell, he was in for it with this woman.

Kelsie Leverich has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I LOVED The Valentine's Arrangement and although I was disappointed to learn that Ronnie and Kale's story would not continue on as originally planned, I was still interested to read what Kelsie had in store for Meagan.

Wow...Feel The Rush blew me away. It's funny because even though I liked the book from the very beginning, it really grabbed onto me about halfway through the book and didn't let go until long after the ending. OMG....LOVED LOVED LOVED the epilogue~so damn good it just about killed me!!! lol

Feel The Rush was so much more than I expected. There were so many little things that made this story so enjoyable that I couldn't get enough. Such an emotional story once you really got to know Reed and Meagan. But it was also filled with a lot of laughter and some twists that I had not expected. Kelsie definitely made this couple work for their HEA.

Reed *sigh* I wasn't sure about him at first. He was cocky, funny, charming, and sexy as hell. But I kept alternating between loving him and wanting to kick him in his junk. I felt bad for him for the way his parents treated him and also about his brother. That whole thing really got me. I loved how protective and jealous he was with Meagan and of course I LOVED the sparks that ignited off of them when they were together. Reed won me over and I totally fell in love with him. He did some really sweet things to prove himself to Meagan!! I really liked Meagan even though I think she gave Reed a hard time. She was smart and funny and I loved how she was so caring of everyone. My heart ached for her with the whole Daniel situation and at several other points in the story.  And I couldn't forget about the sex ~ against the wall, in the shower ~ you get the picture!! ;) lol  There was also a great set of secondary characters that I am hoping to read more about.

A great addition to a series that continues to entertain and has me looking forward to so much more. This is definitely a favorite of mine.

Review: Their Virgin Princess by Shayla Balck & Lexi Blake...5 out of 5 rating...

Book #4
16135260
A broken woman…

Alea Binte al Mussad, Princess of Bezakistan, was abducted from her university, mentally tortured and forced to witness the worst of humanity. She was rescued, but not before fear and her shattered soul made her retreat into herself. Two years later, she’s living behind the palace’s locked gates and the walls she’s built surrounding her heart. Alea is comforted by the joyous family around her, but inside feels so alone—except when she’s with the steady trio of guards who relentlessly keep her safe. And tempt her with a passion she isn’t sure she’ll survive.

Three stalwart warriors determined to claim her…

Dane Mitchell, Cooper Evans, and Landon Nix wanted Alea from the moment they laid eyes on her. Held back by their duty and her fragility, they worship the Princess from afar, determined to claim her if the chance ever comes. When Alea learns that someone may still be hunting her, she plots to escape both danger and her guards’ simmering, overwhelming passion. Dane, Coop, and Lan aren’t about to let her go. When they find themselves in paradise and all boundaries are stripped away, the ice begins to melt around Alea’s heart. But when reality comes crashing in, will she learn to accept love before a killer strikes again?
Oh...I was so looking forward to this book because I wanted to learn more Dane, Cooper and Landon and how they were able to help Alea to cope with her situation and convince her to take a chance on the three of them. It was so worth  the wait. I have to laugh because I stated in my last 2 reviews of this series that those books were my favorites of the series so far, but Their Virgin Princess blew them away and definitely won my heart and is no doubt my favorite of the series. Each book keeps getting better and better and drawing me further into the series. This is definitely not a problem to have in that I keep changing my mind about my favorite book in the series. lol

I loved Landon, Cooper and Dane (although Dane could be an asshat - I guess there always has to be one. lol )  I also really liked Alea in this book.  I couldn't wait for her to stop giving them such a hard time and just accept their relationship.  I loved the banter between Dane, Landon and Cooper-so funny. I just loved the relationship between these 4. They were so good together.  And the sex was definitely hot hot hot!! ;)

My favorite part of this book was most definitely the plane crash and their time on the island. So good!! I mean really who wouldn't want to be stranded on an island with three sexy ex-special forces men??? Count me in!! lol  This is definitely a book that gave me quite a few happy dreams!! lol ;) Loved the epilogue-so sweet.

A great story that I totally enjoyed and I cannot wait for more. I am hoping for a book with Riley, Law and Dominic.

Madly attracted to both, the virginal secretary knows that neither of her intensely handsome bosses desires her. But every night she dreams of having them both in her bed, fulfilling her every need.

The country of Bezakistan – notorious for its danger…

Sheikh Talib al Mussad knows his villainous cousin seeks to take his throne. If Talib and his brothers fail to convince the beautiful Piper to love them, all will be lost. After meeting Piper, he knows he would risk everything to possess her heart.

Khalil al Bashir has long coveted his cousin’s rule. Without a bride to seal their birthright, his every wish will come true. If Piper falls for them, he will lose everything but Piper can’t love them if she’s dead…
I have to confess that I'm not a big fan of books about Sheikhs and that whole thing, but I am a HUGE fan of Lexi Blake and if anyone can get me to like a book about Sheikhs and virgins, it would definitely be her. lol Not only did Lexi make me like this book...I LOVED LOVED LOVED it and it is definitely me new favorite of the series by far. lol  I just absolutely loved everything about it right from the opening pages.

I was immediately drawn into the story through Rafe and Kade and especially Piper. I just loved her character. I loved her name and the fact that she was so clumsy. She was adorable. Rafe and Kade where so funny and I found myself laughing-out-loud through most of the book at their antics and the banter between the two of them and then with Tal. So much fun!! I loved that Dex had a small role in this book.

I loved how Piper, Rafe and Kade met and that Piper had been talking to Tal for awhile but didn't know it was him. I loved it when they all finally got together and I especially loved that Piper didn't take any crap from Tal and let him control her.  Loved the ending.

Another great addition to the series filled with so much laughter and love that I never wanted it to end. Can't wait for more.

Review: Their Virgin's Secret by Shayla Black & Lexi Blake...5 out of 5 rating...

Book #2
Their Virgin's Secret: Masters of Menage, Book 2

But Jessa Wade is too tempting, too perfect to let go. They’re on a dangerous mission, but they can’t help but get close to the beautiful, innocent artist. When their mission takes them to a foreign land, they reluctantly leave their love behind, promising to return for her one day.

As danger stalks all three, they must come together and face the mistakes of their past. On the run and out of time, Burke and Cole will fight for their future with Jessa. But will Jessa’s secret bring them together…or tear them apart?
I loved this book. It was my favorite of the series so far.

I just loved how Burke and Cole are twins and together their actions and personalities make them one ultimate hero!! The way they can tell what the other is thinking lead to some great scenes. The definitely compliment each other by being totally opposite. Jess was a great character and I just loved this trio together. I liked her instantly.

I liked how the story went between the past and the present and allowed you to read how they initially met. This definitely kept me entertained and wanting to see what would happen next.

It broke my heart when Jess had to leave Caleb but I loved that he went to stay with Dex, Slade, Gavin and Hannah. So good.

Their Virgin's Secret was definitely a fun read filled with spicy hot menage sex that steamed up the screen of my Nook more than once. ;) lol  Looking forward to the next book in the series but I was disappointed that this one didn't have an epilogue.

I have to say that my favorite part of the book was the end with Burke and Cole sneaking in to hold Caleb. So stinking sweet and funny. Just loved these two.
