Sweet Dreams by Kristen Ashley Review...

BEST OF THE BEST

Lauren Grahame has spent her whole life thinking something special was going to happen. She didn't know what it was, she just knew it would one day be hers.
But she learned the hard way that special wasn't on offer.
So, after divorcing her cheating husband, Lauren searched for nothing special and she thought she found it when she landed a job as a waitress in a biker bar in Carnal. It was perfect: a nothing job in a nowhere bar in Nowheresville.
Then Tatum Jackson walked in. Part-owner of the bar, he took one look at high-class Lauren and wanted nothing to do with her. And he made this known, loudly. Tate's angry insults seared in her brain, Lauren decides the feeling is mutual and she doesn't want anything to do with the gloriously handsome Tate Jackson. The clash of the bartender and barmaid begins but, even though Tate makes his change of mind clear (in biker-speak, a language Lauren is not fluent in), Lauren is intent on going her own way. Until a serial killer hits Carnal and Lauren finds out Tate isn't a bartender, he's a bounty hunter. He stakes his claim for Lauren before he goes on the hunt for a killer but Laurie doesn't speak biker nor does she understand bounty hunters and Tate comes back from the hunt to find his old lady has moved on. Life throws curveball after curveball at Laurie and Tate as secrets are revealed, women are brutally murdered, Tate leads Lauren to special and Laurie tries to find her inner biker babe.

I have been having a tough time lately with my book choices.  My TBR pile is overflowing . I have not been reading hardly at all because all my time is spent on my blog. I have not been able to find the balance needed.  Out of the few books that I have read, 1 was excellent, 1 was really good and the other I am still struggling with even though I want love it so bad!!

Wickedly Delicious Book Blog recommended an author that I had never heard of before. I figured I would check her out and try one of her books.  I honestly didn't know what to expect and the way my reading attention was going, I wasn't expecting much.  WOW...was I surprised!! Sweet Dreams just knocked me off my feet and made me a lifetime fan of Kristen Ashley!!

I may post pictures of sexy men and  puppies on my blog and I am a fan favorite of menages but I am serious about my books!!  There are a handful of books that get the honored place on my shelf to be read again and there are even less that as soon as I finish the book I want to read it again. This book was that for me!! I wanted to reread it before I was half way done it!! I don't think I have felt this strongly for a book in a long time.

I alternately hated and loved Tate at the same time. Just when I thought he was a total jerk and hated him he turned around and explained his actions is such a way I was a goner for him!!  In the end I was head over heels in love with him--even before the end. He may be my favorite Alpha male character of all time.  And I  know my Alpha males...Brody, Hawk, Dimitri, Bones, Raphael, Curran, Adam..to name a few.  Tate was a tortured, broken, dirty-talking, sexy, bossy, arrogant, possessive, sweet, caring, bad ass--all my favorites!! LOL ;)  I wasn't sure about Lauren at first, there were times when I thought she was too easy on Tate and he took advantage of her but then she grew into her own (ultimately because of him) and I loved her as much as I did Tate. She was perfect for him!! Their relationship wasn't easy as they both had emotional baggage that didn't come out right away. I loved this!! I just had to keep hoping they would get their HEA!! They both deserved it!!

I have to say that Ashley definitely knows how to write HOT, STEAMY, SEXY, INTENSE sex scenes!!  WOW!!  She definitely knows how to write a dirty talking Alpha bad ass--again my favorite!!

There were so many twists and turns and just when you thought things would calm down, something else happened to kick my emotions back up--it was like an emotional roller coaster. Sooooo good!!

Sometimes a book just grabs you and holds on not letting you go.  An amazing book is based on a few things for me; when I have to stop reading-I really don't want to and I put off whatever it is until the last minute, including eating.  And the whole time I am away from the book, I am thinking about it and can't wait to get back to it.  This is what this book did to me.  There are only a few authors who have books that have had that effect on me.

I don't feel that I can write a review worthy enough of this book and I thank Kristen Ashley for writing a book so good that it was a joy to read and that I reread as soon as I was done.

I know that everyone has their own opinion, but for me this book was one of the best if not the best book that I have ever read!!!

Now I have to go and reread it again-seriously!!! :)
