18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. This is a Friday blog hop with the objective to find and visit other book blogs that share the same interest as you, namely book geared towards the 18 & over crowd, and make some new friends!
Question of the week:
Have you read a romance or erotic novel with an M/M or F/F relationship in it? If so, did you enjoy the read? And if you haven't, is that something you would read in the future?
This is a tough one for me. I'm not sure how comfortable I am with reading strictly M/M and F/F books yet. I'm pretty new to this genre and have only read a couple M/M and no F/F books.
I have liked the M/M books that I've read, but felt like there was something missing. Maybe it's just that I have not been exposed to the right M/M books.
For me I think it depends on who the author is and the way the characters and story are written.
Mostly I am exposed to this genre through the menage romances that I love to read. Some of them have M/M along with M/F/M. I have loved these books and most of them are written by my favorite authors!! I will say this, If the books do have M/M, I like my M's more on the HOT, SEXY ALPHA side instead of the other version. A perfect example is Todd and Ben from Lauren Dane's Laid Bare, they love each other and they also love Erin, the relationship revolves around all three. Dane has written some of the HOTTEST, SEXIEST sex scenes between the three of them and Todd and Ben alone.

For right now I think I will stick with my M/M only when there is a F in the middle. LOL ;)
For those of you who do read M/M; Do you have any suggestions?? What are some of your favorites??

I love Xavier Axelson!! He is a great M/M writer and you don't feel like your missing something. I understand what you mean when you say that. Here's mine: http://closeencounterswiththenightkind.blogspot.com/2012/04/18-over-book-blogger-follow.html

DeleteOMG--I love Dane's Laid Bare--this is one of my fave stories of hers. She, to me, is amazing. I highly rec her book, Second Chances...I sobbed aloud and it was such a heart wrenching story. No m/m interaction. It was BDSM based and very well written.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
OMG..I knew I would like you!!! I was not prepared for what happened in Second Chances and I cried like a baby!!! That part just about tore me up!! I loved those two characters together and after all that, I couldn't believe Dane did that!! LOL I don't want to give an spoilers away. I am glad I am not the only one who had that reaction!! Have you ever read The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton??
