Review: A Mating Dance by Lia Davis...4 out of 5 Rating...

A Mating Dance (Ashwood Falls, #2)
Senior enforcer, Cameron Nickels has found her perfect mate. Blaine Andrews, leopard Pack Marshal, is strong, dominate, loyal, and passionate. He knows all her strengths and weaknesses—not to mention her pleasure points. Cam’s known Blaine most her life, but she’s always felt like something was missing and her jaguar refuses to fully accept him. Yet, she can’t walk away from him. When architect and sexy mountain lion shifter, Graham Griffin, comes to town to design the new den nursery and school, Cameron finds herself in a mating dance that throws her and her jaguar into flight mode while Blaine must decide if he can not only share his mate, but welcome another.

After his lover walked out on him a year ago, Graham has no intentions of entering another relationship any time soon. But he realizes that the fates have other plans for him when he meets Blaine and Cameron. When his ex-lover’s children are chased into Ashwood territory by a group of rogues, he discovers the male he shared a life with had died freeing the kids from the Onyx Pack. Graham must work side-by-side with the two enforcers to uncover lies from the past while his heart opens to his true mates.

Warning: Contains one-hot headed leopard, a man who thought he’d lost it all, and a woman who is about to rub up against both in the best possible ways.
A Mating Dance was the one book in the series that I was waiting for the most and I was not  disappointed. It was definitely my favorite of the series so far.

Cam and Blaine were a great couple. They were so cute together and I loved how they interacted with each other. I loved that they had been together since Cam was a teenager but at the same time it was sad to read the reason Cam wasn't able to fully commit to Blaine. It made me love Blaine that much more that he never gave up on her. Cam was such a strong and loving heroine and my heart ached for her. Blaine was so protective and possessive of Cam but loving with her at the same time and I loved how he supported her  being an enforcer. It was so much fun getting to learn more about them as a couple and individually.

I wasn't sure how I felt about Graham being introduced into Cam and Blaine's relationship as they were already an established couple. Especially after the fact that Graham and Blaine where together the first time without Cam. I thought Cam handled this fine as it didn't seem to bother her but it bothered me and I wished that the first time they were all together as a trio instead. But it all worked out and led to some very hot and steamy sex scenes~so I really can't complain and in the end I loved them as a trio and loved that Graham was the missing part of them.

I love menage stories but I'm always nervous in a trio of 1 person being left out, especially when 2 of them are already a couple and when the 2 men are attracted to each other also.  But Lia Davis did a great job with Blaine, Cam and Graham and I didn't feel like anyone was left out. And I have to admit that the scene with Blaine and Graham alone was smokin' hot!! :) I loved the scene when all three finally cemented the mating bond. It was hot, intimate, fun and loving. I also loved that Lia didn't drag out their mating and they formed their trio pretty easily without a lot of unnecessary drama.

I loved the addition of Sammie and Max to the story and how Max bonded instantly with Cam. Blaine trying to win them over was so cute!!  I'm looking forward to more and can't wait to read the impact of Keegan going away with Addyson will ultimately have on Blaine, Cam and Graham as well as the other pack members. I'm also interested in reading more about the developing relationship between Keegan and Addyson. So good!!

It was my pleasure to read A Mating Dance and I'm looking froward to so much more from Lia Davis. This is a definite keeper for me.  4 out of 5 rating!
