“Let’s talk ’bout you and me instead. Are you going to prom with me?”

“No.”

“Maybe I need to convince you.” Wyatt leaned down and buried his face in the curve of her neck. His breath was warm, his voice husky. “’Cause I wanna take my girl to one dance before school’s done forever.”

His tongue darted out, licking at the tender skin behind her ear. The rush had Tabitha closing her eyes. She sagged against the door, but he held her there, his strong arms wrapping around her as he pressed, soft reverent kisses against her neck.

“Oh God.” She moaned, knowing he heard the defeat in her voice because he pushed in closer, forcing his powerful body tighter against hers. She threaded her fingers into his hair and held his head there. “Wy.”

“Tell me you’ll go to prom.”

She used her hold on his hair to tug him back instead; then she stood on her toes and tilted her head back in an offer he took. She gasped against his lips when he kissed her, hard and possessive, forcing her to part to him when his tongue pushed into her mouth. The pleasure felt like liquid fire that slipped into her veins like a drug.

She never understood her mother’s constant need for the next drink until Wyatt kissed her for the first time on the side of road at the start of ninth grade. Since then she’d been chasing the white dragon every chance she had, regardless of common sense that told her she was falling farther down a black hole that would ruin both of them when they hit bottom.

Her mother had Jack Daniels.

Her brother had drugs.

Tabitha had Wyatt Conner.

I have LOVED this series from the start and with each new book my adoration grows!! I have been waiting for Wyatt’s story from the very beginning and I was so excited to read it. But I have to say that I was totally not prepared for it. Wyatt and Tabby’s story is so heartwarming and heart wrenching at the same time. I read with nervous anticipation as to when they would fall apart.

From start to finish Crossing The Line was a roller coaster ride of emotion. It was laughter and love mixed with sorrow and heartache. I LOVED every second of it!! Wyatt and Tabby pulled me into their story and I didn’t want to leave. I wanted them to find their HEA so bad. I loved that the story was told from when they first met and how their relationship grew but it was definitely a struggle to read them suffer and hurt the way they did. I would say that Tabby’s story was more painful to read then Wyatt’s but I’m not totally convinced of that. They both suffered so much but in different ways.

Wyatt was such a great character. I totally fell for him and his craziness and the absolute unconditional love he felt for Tabby from the very beginning. I also really loved Tabby’s character and felt so sorry for her. I totally understood why she left Wyatt and why Wyatt didn’t go after her. I didn’t like it but I got it.

I LOVED reading about Clay and how they all met but his story was just as hard to read. I loved him and Melody together and was so happy to read more of them as well as Jules, Romeo, Tino and especially Nova. LOVE LOVE LOVE Nova almost as much as I LOVE Wyatt and Clay!! I cannot wait for Nova’s book and I hope that Kele gives him a heroine that is worthy of him!!!

There were so many great parts to this story and I especially LOVED LOVED LOVED the ending. So incredibly AWESOME!!!
