Some Changes...Join Me On This New Journey With Belle's Book Bag....

So...Today is DAY 8 in my lifestyle changing journey. And it is a lifestyle change not a diet (I've decided to think of it this way ;)). 

I've walked a mile every night except 2 (1 was a rest day and the other was missed because I was out and it was too dark by the time I got home. It actually bothered me that I missed that day...go figure!) 

I've also started to try and eat as clean as possible. I thought that this would be a struggle for me as my main food groups for a long time were Pepsi/Coke, Pizza, and Cake/Candy. I don't miss the soda which is a SHOCK to me because I always said I would never give that up. I didn't miss the pizza until yesterday when I saw a post with an awesome looking pizza with all gooey cheese, and hungry at the time, I really wanted it. lol  But I didn't have any ~ that is the important part and I went to bed so I would stop thinking about eating something else. lol 

It's only been a week and I have a long way to go to lose the weight I want but I'm more committed than I've ever been and with each new day that passes I become more proud of myself for sticking with it. 

The point to all this is that I'm going to be dragging all of you with me on this journey by posting about it. lol  Maybe along the way I can be the motivation needed for someone else to make a lifestyle change also. 

My posts will still be focused on books (that will never change!) but with a little fitness, clean eating, and motivation mixed in.

I love two things--books and bad boys. I'm trying to kick the bad boy habit and hold on to the loving books one. When I take the new librarian position in Fortune, I immediately say yes when the Chief of Police asks me out and deliberately turn my back on the bad motorcycle riding boys that litter the Fortune landscape. After all, my bad boy yen was kick started by the frequent absences of my nomad father. But no one turns down a man like Judge, the president of the Death Lords MC, not even a girl trying to be good.

Judge

When Pippa Lang breezes into town in her little red convertible, the wind blowing out her big red hair, there is no way the dirty Chief of Police is going to keep her. That red hair belongs on my pillow and her hot body between my sheets. And no one, not the Chief, not the town, and not even Pippa, is going to stop that from happening. 

What a great surprise this book was for me. Even though it was short ~ about 89 pages ~ it packed enough HEAT for a much longer book. This is my first book from Ella Goode and I'm hooked.

There was so much steam coming off of Judge and Pippa (love that name!!) that I almost had to put my Kindle Fire in the freezer!! lol Judge was such a dirty talker ~ my favorite kind. ;) Pippa was sweet but she was able to hold her own with Judge.

I'm so interested in the other characters that I cannot wait to read their books as well. Wrecker and Chelsea along with Easy, Michigan, and Annie. Their books sound so good and I'm hoping that Ella will give Judge and Pippa more books as well considering these other characters have more than one book.

Read...Re-read...Re-read Again...This is my favorite Lani Lynn Vale book and definitely one of the best books that I've read this year.

This was such a great story. Was it all sunshine and rainbows? No. It was sad and heartbreaking. Nico and Georgia both experienced unimaginable things in their pasts that had shaped who both characters were today.

Oh, I just wanted to hug these two. lol

I fell hard for Nico and Georgia right from the beginning. Their relationship drew me in. I LOVED how they loved each other. Without trying to sound too cheesy, they really did complete each other. There was no one else for either of them. *sigh*

So happy to see some of my favorite characters ~ cannot wait for Downy's book next!!! I also was so interested in Georgia's brothers and am crossing my fingers that each of them may get their own books.

I couldn't leave without saying that Nico was SEXY AS HELL and him and Georgia together fogged up my Kindle Fire. lol ;) Oh...that epilogue...so sweet. Lani is one of a very few authors that writes an amazing epilogue.

Thanks Lani for writing such a great story and letting me return to visit with these characters that I have grown to love so much.

I am so in love with Nico & Georgia. This is definitely my favorite book from Lani and it's also one of the best books I have read this year!! I started rereading as soon as I finished the epilogue.
