I have such MAD LOVE for Maya Banks and this series. She is one of my favorite authors!! I love Rachel and Ethan and was so looking forward to reading Softly At Sunrise. I was not disappointed. AWESOME read!!! Loved it from the beginning to the end!!! So happy to see all the characters from the previous books!! Can't wait for PJ and Cole's book!!! Softly At Sunrise has found its place in my keeper pile to be reread along side the rest of the KGI series!!!! Definitely one of my favorites in the series!!! January can't come fast enough!!!

Cole to PJ:

Beautiful? Hell, she was fucking gorgeous. But Cole liked her just fine in camo with face paint on. He’d fantasized a few times about taking her to bed, stripping off her fatigues and getting her face paint all over both of them.

Cole and Steele:

“Cole, a word,” Steele said tersely.

Cole turned and met his team leader’s gaze. Steele motioned toward the door and then left the war room. Cole followed him outside and then a short distance away before they both halted.

“What’s so top secret?” Cole asked.

“Don’t be a smart-ass,” Steele said sharply. “I need you to have your head on straight if you’re going to be a part of this.”

Cole frowned. “Wait just a damn minute.”

Steele pinned him with his forceful gaze. “No, you wait a minute. Don’t act like you haven’t gone to shit in the last months. You look like something the cat dragged in. You’ve lost weight. You look like you haven’t slept in a month. You won’t do P.J. a damn bit of good if you can’t perform your function within the team. We don’t need a goddamn hero, Cole. What we need is an efficient team to go in and take care of business without allowing our emotions to rule.”

Cole wanted to argue. Damn but he wanted to tell Steele to shove it up his ass, but his team leader was right and Cole knew it.

“I get it,” Cole said gruffly. “I’m in. You aren’t doing this without me.”

Steele held up a finger. “The only reason I’m letting you in on this is because I know if I sideline you, you’ll only go off on your own and then you’ll get in the way. I’m not losing P.J. and I’m damn well not losing you either. I’m keeping this team together if it kills me.”

Woo-Hoo!!! I am a HUGE fan of Maya Banks and of the KGI series!!! I cannot wait for this book!! I love the cover even though this is not what I pictured PJ and Cole to look like in my head. I am glad that Maya decided to put PJ on this cover instead of just a HOT SEXY guy!! LOL ;)

REALLY LIKED IT!!

I am a HUGE fan of Maya Banks and this is one of my favorite series of hers. Echoes At Dawn wasn't my favorite book in the series but it did entertain me the entire time and I did really like Rio and Grace. I also liked seeing the other characters from the previous books. It will be interesting to see how the series progresses from here and I can't wait for PJ and Cole's story!!! The teaser from Shades of Gray at the back of this book nearly did me in -- I'm so excited to read their book and now have to wait till next year--I don't think I can make it!! :) LOL  4 out of 5 rating.

Rachel was terrified. Her palms were sweaty around the steering wheel, and it irritated her that such a small thing as substitute teaching for middle school kids would frighten her after all she’d been through.

Maya Banks is one of my favorite authors!! I am a HUGE fan of hers!! I especially LOVE  this series--it is one of my favorites!! Colters' Woman was the first menage that I had ever read and I was hooked from then on!! LOL   I am so glad that she decided to continue the series after Colters' Daughter!!  Although I adore Adam, Ethan, Ryan and Holly--Seth, Michael, Dillon and Lily are my absolute favorites!!  I feel like I have been waiting for this book for forever and I was not disappointed!!

There was so much to love about this book. It was such a heartwarming read. The characters from the previous books were all included and each of the couples had an equal amount of  story written about them. It was great to see what everyone was up to a little more then a year later. I definitely want my own Seth, Michael and Dillon--they each have their own personality and bring something different and special to the relationship and they absolutely adore and cherish Lily--who wouldn't want that?? Plus all three are HOT!!! LOL ;)  Lily is a lucky character!!! LOL   Colters' Promise pulled me right in from the beginning and held on until the end but of course still left me wanting more!!  Definitely a reread !!

The Colters' Legacy series is more then just about menage-although the sex in the books is definitely HOT!! Each of the books have a great story line. They are about love and family and  finding the one who completes you. Maya Banks wrote this series about a truly loving and caring family and I found it hard not wishing that the characters really existed.   I don't think I will ever get enough of the Colters and I will be sad when the series finally ends!!

I love this cover because... I think it's very sexy. The reddish sky in the background lends to the drama of the cover. The guy screams SEXY BADASS  MILITARY ALPHA HERO (my fave kind) even with the shirt on!! LOL   Love Maya Banks and can't wait for this book to be released. KGI is a great series!!
