We walked through the marble infested lobby, got in the elevator and attacked.
Seth pressed me up against the mirrored wall, pulling my leg onto his hip. He lightly bit from my collar bone to my chin while I slowly rubbed his growing erection. He growled into my neck making my clit pulse with need.
“God, it’s been too long.” I huffed into his ear as he reached up my tank top and under my bra, tugging on my nipples just the way I loved it.
The elevator slowed, forcing us to pull away from each other, but just until we were behind the closed door of his suite.
I went right to the bed, slipped off my boots and stripped down to my bra and panties.
Seth groaned as he watched me slowly undress from the other side of the bed where he was standing already in his birthday suit stroking his erect member slowly. “Put your boots back on. Never leave them off, Jolene. Never.”

Review: Sweet Fall (Sweet Home, #3) by Tillie Cole...

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is such a great series ~ cannot get enough of these characters. I love Rome and Molly but I'm CRAZY over Austin and Lexi. He calls her Pix *sigh* This is definitely my favorite of the series. There is just something about their story that captured me instantly and I never wanted it to end. Oh...the last couple chapters and then the epilogue just about did me in. Soooo Good!!! If I already hadn't loved this story ~ I would have just from the ending alone. I felt bad for Austin for the hand he was dealt in life as well as for his brothers and especially for his poor mom. But what really got me was Lexi's story. It opened my eyes to a disease that I never really gave much thought to before. It was so hard to read her struggle through it. I don't think that I ever wanted a character to get their HEA as much as I did Lexi. I LOVED how Austin and Lexi found a home in each other and brought Levi along. :) Just a great book and definitely one of my favorite reads. Looking forward to Sweet Hope. Belle's Book Bag Top Pick!!

Becoming a Mother

 When you called to tell your dad and me that you were pregnant, I was so excited for the two of you. But then finding out that you would be alone when the baby was born scared me. I knew how that felt, and I never wanted my children to experience that situation. But I was thrilled when you told us you would be coming back home to have the baby.

 The day Rissa was born, I got to be the first to hold her. It’s one of the best days of my life. When I was allowed to bring her back over to you, you were still a bit groggy from a reaction to the epidural, but you said, “Hi, Damaris, I’m your mommy. It’s nice to meet you.” The nurse anesthetist helped wrap your arm around Rissa so you could semi-hold her for a moment before she was taken to the nursery.

 Choosing between going with Rissa to the nursery and staying with you, my baby, was hard. I stood there kind of dithering with myself over what to do when you yelled at me to go.

 Later on that night, I woke up to you talking softly. Damaris was swaddled and snuggled in your arms as you gazed down at her. “…he’s not very well behaved, so your daddy and I have a lot to learn about being a mommy and daddy. You’ll have to be patient with us. I promise we’ll try really hard.” You went on to talk to her about all kinds of things while she nursed. I wish I could remember everything you said, but honestly I think you were just rambling.

 Watching you grow into motherhood over the next few months was heartwarming. You’ve always had a very loving and giving heart, but you’re very reserved about who you open yourself up to. You don’t often talk about your inner thoughts and feelings.  If Rick hadn’t bombarded his way into being your friend, I don’t think you would have made the effort to really get to know anyone when we moved here. With Rissa, you were a natural. 

 Over the next few months, it seemed like taking care of Rissa gave you a newfound confidence. You blossomed as her mother, and through her, you opened yourself to others as well. Oh, you were still quiet, but you no longer cared if people noticed you. It was all about meeting Rissa’s needs. 

 When Sybany came along, she flipped your world on its axis. There was nothing easy about that kid. She gave you a run for your money. One day you called me and said, “She never stays still. What am I supposed to do?” 

 Once I stopped laughing, I asked, “What did you expect?”

 “Damaris never moved when I put her down and told her to stay there. She always plays quietly with her toys. Sybany never stops moving, even in her sleep.”

 A few months later, I asked how things were going. You didn’t seem quite so stressed. You told me, “Momma, I just decided not to worry about it. I’m going with the flow. But one thing I’ve figured out is that Damaris was the perfect baby and toddler, but she was the worst kid to have first because she lulls you into false confidence.”

 Well, baby girl, I’m here to tell you that you aren’t as behind the motherhood curve as you think. My baby is forty-one and being a mother is still a learning process that never ends.

My top was off in an instant, and I stood before him in only my bra and panties. “Braid your hair.” Blinking, I wasn’t sure where this was going, but I pulled the length over my shoulder and without breaking our intense eye contact, I started weaving my wavy locks into a thick rope over my shoulder. “Bra.” I reached around and unfastened it. The straps tickled my hypersensitive skin as they fell down my arms. The entire garment fluttered to the floor, and his eyes broke from mine to study my body. I couldn’t breathe. Reaching out, he cupped the bottom of my breast and slid his thumb across a tightening nipple. The rough touch of his palm against my delicate skin, the circling of his thumb around my straining buds. Hungry eyes darkened as he watched my body respond to him. Heat pulsed deep between my thighs. My breath hitched then became shallow and fast. I had no idea what he’d do next. I didn’t expect him to turn and go to the bed. He climbed onto it and leaned against the headboard, eyes fixed on mine. Strong fingers tightened against my skull, holding me forcefully, taking no prisoners. I moaned again as he pulled my lip between his teeth before pillaging my mouth once more. I held his wrists, my head light. In that moment, he pushed me back against the bed. Stunned, my eyes blinked open, and I tried to get my bearings. It was all happening so fast. He sat back on his heels and gripped my thighs, pulling my hips to his mouth. He gave me one slow, lingering look before licking his tongue from the top of my clit all the way down to my opening, wet and throbbing. “Oh, god! Stuart!” I cried, flexing my ass in his hands. I was so close, I would come for him fast. He didn’t stop, tracing his tongue back again and slowly circling that small, powerful bud. I whimpered as he repeated the figure eight pattern, circling and sucking until I saw stars.
